urban picnic?

There is an average of 140,000 Filipino's in Hong Kong who predominately work as 'foreign domestic helpers' or nannies. These workers live at the home of the families that they look after, and on Sundays and public holidays, they gather in large groups in public spaces. However, due to the lack of defined 'public space', main streets in the central business district must be shut down in order to accommodate the sudden influx of people gathering outdoors.

From building undercrofts, sky bridges, to pedestrian crossings, what's interesting is the way that these groups of people have transformed the conventional nature of some of these main city spaces.
